Cancer affects everyone differently, that's why we are looking forward to the 6th Global Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Congress, taking place in Melbourne from Tuesday, December 3rd to Friday, December 6th, 2024. We are excited for some of our clinical professionals and rangatahi leaders to join the international community to engage with diverse perspectives.

Following the success of previous congresses in Edinburgh in 2016, Atlanta in 2017, Sydney in 2018, the UK (held online) in 2021, and Long Beach in 2023, this year's Congress aims to bring together diverse voices from the international community committed to addressing and advancing AYA cancer care.

Under the theme "Ethics, Equity, and Emerging Ideas," the congress will explore topics such as ethics and innovation in treatment and practices, the integration of technology, equity in low- and middle-income countries, priority populations, and the contributions of early career researchers and clinicians.

As always, this congress will provide a platform for medical professionals, researchers, academics, and advocates in AYA cancer care to collaborate and address the unique challenges faced by young individuals affected by cancer.
