Accommodation
A Home Away From Home

they are in hospital. Ronald McDonald Houses are homes away from
home where families can stay while their child is undergoing
treatment at Starship Children's Hospital, Wellington Hospital or
Christchurch Public Hospital.

Situated in the grounds of Starship Children's Hospital, Ronald
McDonald House Auckland is a 48 room facility with an additional 13
critical care rooms and day lounge in the Ronald McDonald House
Family Room facility (located on the 3rd Floor of Starship).
Ronald McDonald House South Island
The Ronald McDonald House in Christchurch is located on the corner
of Cashel and Motreal Streets, in Christchurch - just two minutes
walk from Christchurch Public Hospital.
Opened in March 2003, the House has 17 units and provides
accommodation for families who travel from all over the South
Island for medical or psychological treatment at any of
Christchurch's four hospitals.
Ronald McDonald House Wellington
The Wellington Ronald McDonald House sits straight over the road
from Wellington Hospital and provides accommodation for 13
families.
